Yay! I'm so excited I know where I will be student teaching this fall!! And I couldn't be happier with my placements! After a bad day at the eye doctor, I could only have lasik on my right eye because of some complication with my left eye, I got the letter telling me where I was placed. That was what I needed to lift me up a bit, I feel like I've worked so hard in the classroom and I'm ready to be out in the school systems working with kids. I will be at Webster Elementary in Muscle Shoals from August 27-October 16. That is my lower placement, I will be teaching 2nd grade!!! SO EXCITING! From October 19-December 15 I will be at Hibbett Middle School here in Florence, I absolutely LOVE this school! I will be teaching 6th grade at HMS and that is my pick of any grade to teach! So lets just say I'm ready for the fall, I can't wait to start student teaching!!! I know I shouldn't wish my summer away but I'm very excited for whats to come!
The fall will also bring more trips to the Huntsville Laser Center and another eye surgery in December. I must admit, I kind of enjoy the Huntsville doctor trips because I get to eat at PF Chang's and SHOP, and those of you who know me well know my favorite things are eating and shopping!

Yay for student teaching!! I am SO SO SO excited that we are on the same team at Hibbett! We are going to get to spend so much time together. And like I told you earlier, You will LOOOOOVE Webster and Mrs. Thornton. She's amazing. And you'll get to spend a lot of time with my "mentor" Mrs. Curry. She's the special ed. teacher.
